I’m Alasdair Taylor
I’m a young professional growing between the gaps in the Construction Industry. I’ve worked for about 3 years at LightHouse Archi-Sci in Canberra where I developed an understanding for regenerative, thoughtful residential construction. I worked across roles there on the Building science team.
Now, I’m starting to do this ! In time I’m hoping to eventually bring my vision of a sacred, regenerative, and people-over-profit way of construction, consumption, and living. I don’t think it will happen quickly but it’s the slow changes that are the ones that do the most and stay around.
Whole Life Cycle Assessment
Data driven, logically consistent, and in line with the RICS Whole life Carbon Assessment Methodology using the EPiC database’s Hybrid Carbon, Water, and Energy coefficients. A whole home life cycle assessment , WLCA, is the most detailed quantified assessment of a building, going far beyond the scope of most building assessments. It includes embodied emissions, operational emissions, replacement parts, maintenance, end of life, energy generation, and more.
